HOW CAN YOU HELP? - YOUR TIME IS IN GREAT DEMAND!

SUMMER EXHIBITION 2007 - May to August
Wednesday to Sunday 11 am to 4 pm

The Friends have been able to organise and fund a summer exhibition of a small selection of the collections items, thanks, in great part, to the generosity of John McGregor, the owner of the Ganavan pavillion where the exhibition is based.

Funding was secured for a coordinator and to set the exhibition up but we are completely reliant on volunteers to look after it.

DO YOU HAVE A FEW HOURS TO SPARE IN A WEEK TO SIT AT THE EXHIBITION?

There are no special skills or knowledge required.
An ability to chat to the public is obviously useful, and there are a few books for sale.
Entry is by donation, so its not an onerous task.

In the quiet times it will be a wonderful opportunity to catch up with some reading, needlework, or similar project. Maybe you are working elsewhere part time and fancy doing your bit for the project for a a few hours.

And added advantage is that you will free up the Exhibition Coordinator - Yasmin - so enabling her to organise lots of interesting events with local groups. In this way the Collection gets much more exposure and we get more value out of Yasmin!

If you can help at all please contact the Exhibition Coordinator, MacDougall Collection,
